British Open Golf
The Old Course at St Andrews, with its expansive double greens, shared fairways and treacherous bunkering, remains the most famous golf course in the world and a unique experience for golfers and visitors to the 'auld grey toon'. Tiger Woods has won the past two Open Championships at St Andrews in 2000 and 2005, joining the all time greats, such as Seve Ballesteros and Jack Nicklaus, that have lifted the Claret Jug amid the historic amphitheatre of the 18th green.
