On a balmy summer evening in Truro in June, Gala Events and Cornish Sporting Club held its 3rd annual Summer Dinner. The host for the event was former England and British Lions Rugby full back Tim Stimpson, with two very special guests: Former England footballer, the legendary left back Stuart ‘Psycho’ Pearce, and Bath Rugby and England hooker Lee Mears. With nearly 200 international caps between them, guests were treated to some brilliant banter as the guys shared anecdotes from their careers.
Arriving early, our VIP Table guests had some group photos with our speakers, before everyone settled down to a superb 3 course dinner. Once Tim, Stuart and Lee took to the stage, everyone in the room was on the edge of their seats as the drinks flowed, as did the laughs. There was further merriment later on as our comedian rounded off the evening in style. All in all, a memorable night in Truro once more!
