It’s been quite a year at Gala Events, with a whole host of big name guests at our Dinners, Lunches and functions at top sporting occasions. We pride ourselves on attracting some of the country’s most entertaining and high profile sports stars and speakers; in the last few months alone we have enjoyed a pulsating Pre Fight Dinner with Carl Froch, tremendous T20 Finals day with Swanny, a cracking Sporting Dinner with Kevin Keegan and a truly memorable England v Australia Preview Lunch in the hallowed Long Room at Lords with Jimmy Anderson, Darren Gough, Nasser Hussein, Tom Moody and host Jonathan Agnew. We have been thrilled with the feedback we have had from clients about all of these superb events.
And we are not sitting back and resting on our laurels! In the run-up to Christmas we have upped the ante again; we have organised our first ‘Lunch with a Legend’ in London, taking place aboard the illustrious HMS Belfast on Wednesday 27th November, with managerial legend and current QPR boss Harry Redknapp, hosted by Sky Sport’s Jim White. The following evening, Thursday 28th November, we have a mouth-watering line-up for our Dinner with the Football Characters, where Sam Allardyce, Steve Bruce and Neil Warnock will be pulling no punches as they share their views on the game they love. We also have our Plymouth Sporting Dinner taking place on Thursday 14th November, where Matthew Hoggard MBE and former British Lion Tim Stimpson will be discussing what it takes to beat the Old Enemy Australia!
