• Can I bring a bag to Durham Cricket?

  The number and size of bags that may be brought into the Ground will be restricted to one bag per person and this bag must measure no more than 18”x12”x12” (45cm x 30cm x 30cm), so that it may fit comfortably under your seat.

• Does Durham hospitality have a dress code for International cricket?

  Trent Bridge corporate hospitality for international cricket requires smart-casual clothing be worn. Jackets and ties aren’t necessary, but you must avoid wearing ripped jeans, trainers, shorts, offensive t-shirts, tracksuits or sportswear.

• Where should I meet my guests upon arrival at Durham The Riverside?

  As each member of your party arrives at Durham the Riverside, a member of the hospitality team will escort them to your table in the hospitality suite.

• How do I get to Durham Cricket, The Riverside by car?

  The Riverside is located just one mile outside Chester le Street, four miles outside Durham and 10 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne. There will be extra parking arrangements for games and events which are expected to draw particularly large crowds.

• What’s the best way to get to Durham Cricket, The Riverside by bus?

  There is an extensive local bus network operating to and from Chester-le-Street. Routes north / south from Newcastle to several destinations (e.g. Durham, Bishop Auckland), and east / west (e.g. Sunderland, Consett). The nearest Chester-le-Street has to a Bus Station is the Market Place where the bus stops have real time information (10 – 15 minute walk to The Riverside).  However, the Market Place is not the nearest bus stop to The Riverside.  The closest stops to The Riverside are two stops further south of the Market Place – at the Black Horse (for buses in both directions, north and south, a 5 – 10 minute walk to The Riverside).

• What’s the best way to get to Durham Cricket, The Riverside by rail?

  Chester-le-Street station is served by three train operating companies. Northern Rail, CrossCountry & First TransPennine all run regular services from local & regional destinations. On busy match days, additional stops are made by trains at Chester-le-Street.

• Can I specify catering arrangements for guests?

  The events team will send out a reminder email six weeks prior to the event, which includes a request for dietary requirements.

• Can a friend take my place halfway through a corporate hospitality event at the Riverside?

  No, sorry. Tickets are non-transferable, so you can’t pass them on to friends and colleagues after entry.

• Can I alter my booking at a later date?

  Subject to our Terms and Conditions and availability, your booking cannot be altered. Although, we will always do our best to accommodate changes.
