Gala Events are delighted to secure the services of James Taylor as guest speaker for the Natwest T20 Blast Finals Day at Edgbaston.
The batsman’s world was turned upside down earlier this month after he was forced to retire because of a serious heart condition.
At the age of just 26, the tough decision came far too soon for the Nottinghamshire ace who was capped 34 times for England.
Now as all at Gala Events send out our best wishes to James following a recent operation, we look forward to welcoming him into our hospitality lounge for the exciting short-form’s main event on Saturday 20 August.
James further enhances an outstanding line-up of expert guest speakers at Gala Events’ cricket hospitality events at Edgbaston throughout 2016.
Steve Harmison will be behind the mic for the One Day International between England and Sri Lanka on Friday 24 June, while Dominic Cork will be in the spotlight when England host Pakistan on day two of the 3rd Investec Test on Thursday 4 August.
And to add to that, each event will also be joined by a mystery star name to be confirmed closer to the time.
