The most eagerly anticipated tournament in darts returns to Alexandra Palace in London, with the world’s greatest players looking to clinch a record first prize of over £2,500,000.

Last years’ tournament saw 96 players from around the world competing for £2.5million in prize money, as Michael Smith defeated Michael van Gerwen in the final to become a first-time World champion.
