Darren Gough
Darren Gough MBE is one of England’s most recognisable fast bowlers, enjoying a hugely successful international career between 1994 and 2006. He took 229 wickets in 58 Test matches and 235 wickets in 159 ODIs, and was a key figure in England’s famous 2000 Test series victory over the West Indies. Gough also captained Yorkshire and helped the county win the 2001 County Championship. Away from cricket, he has become a popular broadcaster and media personality, as well as winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2005.
Lee Dixon
Lee Dixon is a former England international and Arsenal legend who enjoyed an outstanding 14-year career at Highbury. A key member of Arsenal’s renowned defence, Dixon made more than 450 league appearances for the club and won four league titles, three FA Cups and the European Cup Winners’ Cup. He earned 22 England caps between 1990 and 1999 and, since retiring, has established himself as a respected football pundit and commentator.
Carnoustie
Carnoustie is steeped in golfing history, having hosted The Open Championship eight times, with legendary champions including Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Tom Watson, Paul Lawrie, Padraig Harrington and Francesco Molinari. Pete Graves: Sky Sports
Pete Graves is an award-winning TV Presenter, Events Host, Podcaster and Author. He is best known as a presenter on Sky Sports News and is also the face of Darts on ITV. Pete built a name for himself in Newcastle on local TV and Radio before being headhunted by Sky Sports in 2009. At Sky he has presented live football, rugby and hockey and is also the much loved host of ‘Good Morning Sports Fans’. His podcast Transfer Talk was voted ‘Best Sports Podcast’ in 2023 and his book titled “Here To Compete”, about the rise of his beloved Newcastle United, has sold more than 30,000 copies. In 2025 he was also named the lead presenter for Darts on ITV. Pete’s energy, enthusiasm and sports knowledge makes him the perfect host for this event.
