The London Gold Cup Lunch 2026 was another spectacular success, bringing together racing fans, corporate guests and sporting legends for an unforgettable afternoon of Cheltenham Hospitality in the stunning surroundings of The Oval.
Hosted in the prestigious 175 Suite, guests enjoyed one of the capital’s standout Cheltenham Gold Cup Hospitality events as the biggest day in National Hunt racing unfolded live on the giant screens. With the iconic Oval wicket as the backdrop and the electric atmosphere of Gold Cup Friday filling the room, the event once again delivered a perfect blend of sport, entertainment and premium hospitality.
Guests were welcomed with a three-course lunch and a six-hour complimentary bar, creating a relaxed yet lively setting to enjoy the day’s racing. Throughout the afternoon, our professional racing expert provided on-screen tips and insights, helping guests follow the runners and riders across Cheltenham’s famous Prestbury Park.
A major highlight of the day came from our two special guests, football legend Glenn Hoddle and former heavyweight world champion Frank Bruno. Glenn captivated the audience with fascinating stories from his playing days with Tottenham Hotspur and England, as well as his experiences managing the national team. Meanwhile, Frank Bruno had the room thoroughly entertained with his trademark humour and larger-than-life personality, sharing memorable moments from his incredible boxing career.
The event was expertly hosted by Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves, whose energy and sporting knowledge kept the afternoon flowing seamlessly, guiding guests through the racing action and engaging interviews with both sporting icons. With the Cheltenham Gold Cup itself delivering thrilling drama on the track, the atmosphere inside the 175 Suite was buzzing throughout the afternoon as guests followed every moment of the action.
The London Gold Cup Lunch once again proved to be one of the premier Cheltenham Hospitality events in the capital, combining world-class sport, exceptional hospitality and unforgettable stories from some of Britain’s greatest sporting figures.

The Birmingham Gold Cup Lunch 2026 proved to be another outstanding success, delivering a fantastic afternoon of racing excitement, entertainment and Gold Cup hospitality at the iconic Edgbaston Stadium.
Hosted in the impressive Banqueting Suite overlooking the famous cricket ground, guests gathered to celebrate Cheltenham Gold Cup Friday, one of the biggest and most prestigious days in the National Hunt racing calendar. With the best horses in the world competing at Prestbury Park, the atmosphere throughout the room was electric as the full race card was shown live on the giant screens.
Guests were welcomed with a superb three-course lunch, accompanied by excellent service from the Edgbaston hospitality team. The afternoon combined first-class dining with a lively sporting atmosphere, with many guests making use of the in-house bookmaker and racing tipster service to add extra excitement to the day’s racing action.
A highlight of the event was the funny & fascinating on-stage interview with England and Liverpool legend John Barnes, who captivated the audience with stories from his remarkable career. From his early days at Watford to becoming one of Liverpool’s greatest ever players and a key member of the England national team, Barnes shared insights, humour and memorable moments from life at the very top of the game.
Adding another dimension to the afternoon was a brilliant comedy performance from Jack Skipper, whose sharp observational humour and relatable storytelling had the room in stitches. His energetic set proved hugely popular with the audience and provided the perfect entertainment between races.
The event was expertly hosted by Dave Fulton, who guided guests through the day’s racing and interviews, keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged throughout. Live music from our Irish band ensured the atmosphere remained lively well into the afternoon, rounding off what was a truly memorable day of sport, entertainment and hospitality.
Once again, the Birmingham Gold Cup Lunch demonstrated why it has become one of the most anticipated sporting lunches in the Midlands calendar. A huge thank you to all of our guests, partners and supporters who joined us and helped make the event such a tremendous success.
