Gala Events remains committed to supporting youth cricket in the Midlands, and we continue to sponsor the Warwickshire Cricket Board’s U15s Premier League. We were delighted to be present at the end of season Awards Night, which was held on Monday 3rd November at Edgbaston Stadium. The evening was a memorable one, with numerous Awards being presented to up and coming stars of tomorrow. On the team front, it was a great night for Knowle and Dorridge CC, with both the U13 and U15 sides winning their respective Premier Leagues, the latter of which is sponsored by Gala Events.
The Awards were presented by current Warwickshire CCC wicket-keeper Peter McKay, who himself played in the Gala Events Premier League for Walmley CC in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
