Join us for an extraordinary superbikes fundraiser in the heart of Devon.
Held at the stunning Strawberry Fields Restaurant, Lifton, we bring together two of British motorcycle racing’s biggest names; Shane “Shakey” Byrne and Bradley Ray, in support of one of the sport’s most exciting rising stars, local superbike racer Finley Arscott.
This special evening is held in support of Finley Arscott, a hugely promising local rider whose rise through the ranks has been nothing short of remarkable. Having only started riding at 16, Finley has rapidly progressed through national championships, claiming titles, overcoming injury setbacks, and earning his place on the British Superbike stage.
Now competing in the Supersport 1000 class, Finley continues to exceed expectations in his rookie season, currently sitting strongly in the championship standings. Like all riders at this level, the financial demands are significant — from entry fees and travel to equipment, fuel, and inevitable crash damage. This event offers a unique opportunity to support his journey and help fuel the next chapter of a potential superbike star.
With very limited places available, this is more than just a night out — it’s a chance to directly contribute to the future of British motorcycle racing while enjoying an unforgettable evening of dining and motorsport insight.

Shane Byrne
Known to race fans as “Shakey”, Shane is one of the most celebrated British motorcycle racers in history. A Londoner, Shane began his career in motocross before transitioning to road racing. Renowned for his fearless riding style and tactical prowess, he made his mark in the British Superbike Championship, where he holds the record for the most championship titles, with six victories (2003, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2017). Shakey also competed in the World Superbike Championship and had a stint in MotoGP, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. His career was brought to a halt in 2018 following a serious crash during testing, but his resilience and determination remain inspirational. Off the track, Byrne is a sought-after commentator and mentor, contributing his expertise to the next generation of riders. Since retiring Shane has established a new sports management consultancy business with fellow TV presenter Matt Roberts to mentor and progress young motorcycle racers, including superbike racer Bradley Ray, who continues to go from strength to strength. His legacy as a motorcycling legend endures, both in the UK and internationally.
Bradley Ray
Bradley is a highly skilled racer who rose to prominence in the British Superbike Championship (BSB). After starting in Moto3, he made his mark in BSB with his first win in 2017, going on to dominate the 2022 season, claiming the championship with multiple victories and podiums. Ray then moved to the World Superbike Championship with Motoxracing Yamaha, gaining valuable international experience in 2023–24. In 2025, he made a high-profile return to BSB with Raceways Yamaha, delivering one of his strongest campaigns to date. He opened the season with a stunning run of victories — including eight consecutive wins — and collected the Datatag Fast Start Award for his consistently explosive launches. Despite narrowly missing the title, finishing runner-up, Ray reaffirmed his status as one of Britain’s top riders. He remains with Raceways Yamaha for the 2026 season, continuing to be a major force in the sport.Join us for an unforgettable evening at the gorgeous Strawberry Fields, Lifton, in support of one of motorcycle racing’s hottest prospects, local rider Finley Arscott, with special guests, world-class motorcyclists Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne and Bradley Ray! Finley Arscott
Finley Arscott: In a remarkable career to date it is incredible to ponder that Finley Arscott had no previous experience in riding a motorbike prior to turning 16. Since then his trajectory has been consistently upwards. In 2020 he rode a Yamaha R3, finishing runner-up and completing 4/4 rounds, winning the Junior Cup in the process. Finley’s 2021 season was seriously impacted by a broken collar bone, he still excelled in the No Limits Pirelli 600cc class, finishing 8/47 despite only competing in 4/7 rounds, whilst also making his British Superbikes debut in three rounds, all on a Kawasaki 600. 2021 was phenomenal, Finley competed in all rounds of the No Limits Pirelli 600 finishing the season as Champion, whilst also cementing his spot on the JR Performance British Superbikes team, competing in all rounds and finishing a highly respectable 21/56 in his full debut season! After gaining experience with the JR Performance BSB Team in 2021 and 2022, in 2023 he signed with MIH Solutions Hand Racing team, competing in the National Junior Superstock Championship class where he finished in a credible 12th Place. Sadly BSB pulled the plug on the Junior SuperStock 600 Class at the end of the 2023 season. Fin had two choices; Supersport 600 class or Supersport 1000 class. He chose the latter and was thrilled to team up again with Joe Richardson riding for his team SAF INTRADISC Honda powered by JR Performance Racing on a Fireblade. As a rookie in the class, the season for Fin has gone really well so far and he’s exceeded Joe’s expectations on the bike. At time of writing he stands 13th in the Championship. The sky is the limit for this local lad, this evening represents a wonderful opportunity to raise funds to help with the endless expenses of competing at this level, including entrance fees, crash damage, fuel, parts and travel.
