• Can I specify catering arrangements for guests?

  The events team will send out a reminder email six weeks prior to the event, which includes a request for dietary requirements.

• What's the dress code for Grand National hospitality?

  Although there is no official dress code, smart is preferable and is often adopted. Hats are optional too, but are frequently worn. Sports clothes and fancy dresses are not permitted for the Grand National meeting.

• How do I get to Aintree by car?

  Aintree Racecourse is located on the A59, just one mile from the M57 and M58, which link the M62 and M6. Follow the A59 to Liverpool and the yellow/tourism signs as you approach the racecourse for routes to the car parks.

• How do I get to Aintree by rail?

  The easiest way to reach Aintree is by train with Merseyrail. Aintree Station is directly opposite the racecourse, where regular trains run every 15 minutes on race days (more frequently during The Randox Grand National Festival).

• How will I receive my Aintree Grand National hospitality tickets?

  All tickets for the Grand National will be sent via email. This includes tickets for restaurant and hospitality bookings. You will receive your ticket(s) two weeks before the fixture you are due to attend.

• Is the package price per person or per table?

  In general, prices are shown on a per person basis. However, some private tables have a minimum number of people.

• Do the prices quoted include VAT?

  Please note that the prices quoted are per person and are subject to UK VAT, which is currently charged at 20%. VAT is added to the price within the booking section of the website.

• Where Does the Grand National Take Place?

  The Randox Grand National Festival will take place over three days in early April, culminating in the Grand National race on Saturday. Hospitality packages are available for all three days: Opening Day, Ladies Day, and Grand National Day.

• How Long is the Grand National Race?

  The Grand National is approximately 4 miles and 514 yards (6.907 km) in length. Horses must complete two laps of Aintree’s demanding National Course and jump 30 fences, including iconic obstacles like:

  • Becher’s Brook

  • The Chair

  • Canal Turn

  It’s considered one of the most testing and exhilarating horse races in the world.

• Who Can Enter the Grand National?

  The Grand National is a handicap steeplechase open to horses aged 7 years or older. Entry is based on qualification criteria and official ratings, with the weights assigned by the BHA Handicapper to level the playing field.

• Are Food and Drinks Included in Grand National Hospitality Packages?

  Yes. All VIP packages include a premium food and beverage offering, ranging from welcome drinks and bar service to elegant lunches and afternoon tea. The exact menu and drink selection will depend on your chosen package.

• What is the Dress Code for Grand National VIP Hospitality?

  Hospitality guests are encouraged to dress smartly. While formal racewear is not strictly enforced, many guests choose to wear:

  • Suits, ties, and dress shoes for men

  • Dresses, heels, and fascinators for women, especially on Ladies Day

  We recommend dressing to impress, particularly if you’re attending hospitality on Ladies Day, known for its glamorous fashion.

• How Do I Get to Aintree Racecourse?

  By Car:
  Aintree Racecourse is easily accessible from the M57, M58, and M62 motorways. On-site and nearby parking is available but must be pre-booked.

  By Train:
  Aintree Station is directly opposite the racecourse entrance and is served by regular trains from Liverpool Central on the Merseyrail Northern Line.

  By Bus:
  Several bus routes from Liverpool City Centre stop near the racecourse. Additional services run during the Grand National Festival.
