We are thrilled to give you a fantastic opportunity to go behind the scenes at Lee Valley Hockey Centre, which is the national stadium for England hockey, with one of GB’s 2016 Olympic Gold medal winning team, Sam Quek!

The stadium which was built on the Olympic park and was one of the legacies of the tournament to create a new national hockey home. The fantastic stadium has a 3000 capacity, which can rise to 15,000 for major tournaments. After your tour of the stadium and fun session on the pitch, you will then go to a lounge within the stadium for lunch and a chance to take part in a Q & A session with Quek.

As well as telling plenty of hockey stories, Quek now has a fantastic media CV, being a BBC Radio 5 Live presenter, appearing regularly on Sky’s ‘A League of their Own’ and presenting the NFL show, so she is sure to have plenty of other great stories to tell!

National Hockey Stadium Experience

  • I have a large group I wish to book for, can this be done online?

    Yes, as long as there is availability. Once you have chosen which event, package and date you wish to book, you will then have the option to choose the amount of places you wish to purchase.

  • Can I alter my Celebrity Experience booking at a later date?

    Subject to our Terms and Conditions and availability, your booking cannot be altered. Although, we will always do our best to accommodate changes, please speak to a member of the Gal Events Team.

  • When will I receive the itinerary for my Celebrity Experience?

    The Gala Team will have your provisional itinerary ready as soon as possible. Finalised timings will be confirmed approximately 2-3 week prior to your event and will be sent via email. Please ensure that the Gala Team have your most up to date email address when you confirm your booking. Either chat with us live online, call 0800 195 4250, email sales@galahospitality.co.uk or complete our online enquiry form.

  • Can I specify catering arrangements for guests?

    The events team will send out a reminder email six weeks prior to the event, which includes a request for dietary requirements.

  • Can I alter my Celebrity Experience booking at a later date?

    Subject to our Terms and Conditions and availability, your booking cannot be altered. Although, we will always do our best to accommodate changes, please speak to a member of the Gal Events Team.

  • Is there a min/max number of people that can book to attend an experience?

    There are no minimum numbers, although certain facilities will have minimum numbers for private tables. The maximum number is dependent on the event and availability but we regularly cater for very large parties.

  • Do the prices quoted include VAT?

    Please note that the prices quoted are per person and are subject to UK VAT, which is currently charged at 20%. VAT is added to the price within the booking section of the website.
