• I have a large group I wish to book for, can this be done online?

  Yes, as long as there is availability. Once you have chosen which event, package and date you wish to book, you will then have the option to choose the amount of places you wish to purchase.

• How will I receive my Chester Races hospitality tickets?

  You’ll receive your Chester Races tickets via post. Please ensure that the Gala Team have your most up to date delivery address when you confirm your booking. Either chat with us live online, call 0800 195 4250, email sales@galahospitality.co.uk or complete our online enquiry form.

• When should I expect to receive my Chester Races hospitality documents?

  For peace of mind, we’ll post your tickets and documentation approximately five to ten days before your Newbury Races event takes place. All tickets will be sent via Royal Mail Special delivery

• What's the dress code for Chester Races?

  Gentlemen are required to wear a well-tailored suit or a blazer with smart trousers, together with a shirt, collar and tie. Ladies are required to wear smart dress. No denim jeans of any colour, no trainers, no sportswear, no shorts and no fancy dress will be permitted.

• Is there parking at Chester Races?

  Car parking is available on the Open Course, which is located in the centre of the racecourse. Parking can be purchased on the day, but may be limited and spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis.

• Can I specify catering arrangements for guests?

  The events team will send out a reminder email six weeks prior to the event, which includes a request for dietary requirements.

• Is the package price per person or per table?

  In general, prices are shown on a per person basis. However, some private tables have a minimum number of people.

• What time does Chester Races open?

  Typically gates will open two hours prior to the first race, normally 11.30am on a daytime fixture and 4:30pm on an evening fixture.

• What's the best way to get to Chester Races by car?

  Chester Racecourse is easily reachable via car and is sign-posted from all major routes. The M53, M56, M6 and A483 are all in close proximity to Chester providing excellent links from Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales and the south of England.

• What's the best way to get to Chester Races by train?

  Chester Racecourse is located in the heart of the historic city and is easily accessible by the rail network with trains running frequently to Chester Train station. The railway station is a six-minute taxi ride to the racecourse, or a 20-minute walk.
