Shane Byrne
Known to race fans as “Shakey”, Shane is one of the most celebrated British motorcycle racers in history. A Londoner, Shane began his career in motocross before transitioning to road racing. Renowned for his fearless riding style and tactical prowess, he made his mark in the British Superbike Championship, where he holds the record for the most championship titles, with six victories (2003, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2017). Shakey also competed in the World Superbike Championship and had a stint in MotoGP, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. His career was temporarily halted in 2018 following a serious crash during testing, but his resilience and determination remain inspirational. Off the track, Byrne is a sought-after commentator and mentor, contributing his expertise to the next generation of riders. His legacy as a motorcycling legend endures, both in the UK and internationally. A perfect special guest for this superbikes fundraising dinner.
Bradley Ray
A highly talented racer, Bradley gained prominence in the British Superbike Championship, where he has showcased his impressive skills and determination. Ray began his racing career in the Moto3 class before making his mark in BSB, securing his first victory in 2017. He had a standout season in 2022, clinching the BSB Championship title with an impressive series of wins and podium finishes. Known for his aggressive yet calculated riding style, Ray quickly became a fan favourite and one of the most promising riders in the sport. With a bright future ahead, Bradley Ray continues to be a force in the world of motorcycle racing, now plying his trade at World SBK level with Motoxracing Yamaha WSBK.
Harrison Crosby
Since an early age Harrison has dreamed of rising to the top of the sport, starting out on a 40cc mini moto at just 10 years old! He has enjoyed a rapid progression through the ranks, competing in the British Talent Cup from 2020-2022, achieving numerous podium finishes and culminating in a third place overall in his third year. He stepped up to the National Junior Superstock class in 2023 with the JR performance racing team, ending as top rookie with a 7th place season finish, including reaching the podium at Snetterton. After graduating to the National Superstock class in 2024, Harrison unfortunately suffered a serious injury which kept him out for most of the season. Undeterred, he returned for the final few rounds, and was soon finishing inside the top 10 and not
far off some of the best riders in the country. The future looks incredibly bright for this great young prospect, who will be competing in the National Superstock class aboard a Honda CBR1000 RR. With a supportive team around him, hopes are high that Harrison will soon be racing in the senior British Superbikes season. The sky is the limit for Harrison and your support is very much appreciated!
