This is the unique thrill-seeking opportunity to go white water rafting down the Olympic course at Lee Valley, the scene of the 2012 Olympic medal rush for Team GB.

You will be joined by one of our GB Olympic gold medal winning slalom canoeists Etienne Stott or Joe Clarke, who will be your hosts for this unique event.

After a safety briefing and swimming practice, throughout the event you will have several runs down the course. One of these runs will be timed and medals awarded at the post-race ceremony. You will then make your way to our private function room at the centre, where you will enjoy lunch and a Q & A with your GB Olympic gold medal winning canoeist.

  • How do I book a Celebrity Experience with Gala Events?

    Either chat with us live online, call 0800 195 4250, email sales@galahospitality.co.uk or complete our online enquiry form. One of the Gala team will be more than happy to help you with your booking.

  • Is there a min/max number of people that can book to attend an experience?

    There are no minimum numbers, although certain facilities will have minimum numbers for private tables. The maximum number is dependent on the event and availability but we regularly cater for very large parties.

  • Can I alter my Celebrity Experience booking at a later date?

    Subject to our Terms and Conditions and availability, your booking cannot be altered. Although, we will always do our best to accommodate changes, please speak to a member of the Gal Events Team.

  • Can I specify catering arrangements for guests?

    The events team will send out a reminder email six weeks prior to the event, which includes a request for dietary requirements.

  • I'd like to add more guests to my Celebrity Experience booking, how do I do this?

    Yes, we'll accommodate this if possible. Please get in touch with our team on 0800 195 4250 or sales@galahospitality.co.uk

  • Do the prices quoted include VAT?

    Please note that the prices quoted are per person and are subject to UK VAT, which is currently charged at 20%. VAT is added to the price within the booking section of the website.

  • Is the package price per person or per table?

    In general, prices are shown on a per person basis. However, some private tables have a minimum number of people.
