An Evening with Carl Fogarty

An evening with Carl Fogarty was held at the Strawberry Fields restaurant in Lifton, Devon and we were joined by Superbikes legend and terrific speaker Carl Fogarty in an event to raise money for up-and-coming local racer Finley Arscott. The superbikes hospitality for the evening was incredible, with a delicious 3-course dinner which boasted top quality local produce and of course fantastic entertainment from our star guest speaker. 

In the picturesque surroundings all guests had the opportunity to meet Carl himself and he thrilled guests with a huge range of exciting and often humorous tales about his career at the top of the Superbikes scene and his many other racing exploits. His anecdotes included some of his racing tussles in the superbikes championship, his favourite races and proudest moments as well as his incredible Isle of Man TT exploits.

Young racer Finley then also spoke about his career to date, the coming season and his hopes and ambitions for the future. As part of this event proceeds were going to Finley as he steps up from winning the Pirelli no limits 600cc championships in 2021 to take part in the televised rounds of the Pirelli national junior superstock 600 championships in BSB and take his career to the next level.

To help boost his funds even more an auction was held where a tremendous amount of money was raised for Finley and sincere thanks go to those whose bids were so generously given. An absolutely cracking night was had by all at an evening with Carl Fogarty and the event was a huge success for Finley whose progress we now watch with great anticipation.
