An Evening with the Football Characters

A full house in the Banqueting Suite at Edgbaston was a fitting return for our November dinner in Birmingham after last year’s postponement. Our ‘Harry’s Heroes’ themed panel featured England and Liverpool legend John Barnes, one of football’s greatest characters, the irrepressible Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock, and Villa legend Lee Hendrie, all of whom reprised their football skills with Harry on Sky TV. There were plenty of great stories from our three stars who have seen it all during their long careers at the top. These included John Barnes and Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock talking about their playing days together at Liverpool and John’s time with the England squad, plus Lee Hendrie discussed his long career with Aston Villa. This was followed by a delicious three course dinner served by Edgbaston with their customary efficiency and style. It was a real pleasure to be back in a packed room with clients and friends, with plenty of drinks flowing and many a laugh with our Sky Sports host Pete Graves conducting proceedings. Thanks to all of our valued customers for making this evening with the football characters such a success, we hope to see you all again next year!
