The National Football Museum in Manchester was the venue for a night of top class boxing hospitality as 160 guests joined us for the big fight night with top billing for the big fight between Kell Brook v Amir Khan. Before dinner was served we welcomed ever-popular British heavyweight Derek Chisora as our guest, who gave his thoughts on the night’s boxing ahead including Kell Brook v Amir Khan and entertained guests with tales from his colourful career in which he has fought the likes of Tyson Fury, Vitali Klitschko, David Haye & Dillian Whyte.
After enjoying a three course meal and making full use of the complimentary bar guests departed for the short walk to Manchester’s AO Arena to watch the night’s action. A brilliant performance from Kell Brook saw him stop Amir Khan in the sixth round of an enthralling main event, opening up the possibility of another crack at a world title for the Sheffield fighter.
After the boxing guests returned to our lounge for some food and a few more drinks and we were delighted to be joined by the brilliant unbeaten welterweight Conor Benn, touted by many as a potential next opponent for Kell. Nigel’s son was in fantastic form, a real natural with a mic in hand, giving his thoughts on the night’s entertainment and his exciting career to date which has produced 20 straight victories.
An excellent night and we look forward to further great boxing nights in 2022!
