London Lunch with a Legend

Our long-awaited London Christmas Sporting Lunch with the Legends took place in the Ballroom at the salubrious 5* Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. We were joined for the day by three Premier League icons! Chelsea and Italy superstar Gianfranco Zola was voted the club’s greatest ever player by fans and proved to be a great signing for our event too, delving into tales from his career as both a player and manager. The “Romford Pele” Ray Parlour has done numerous events for us over the years and was in his customary side-splitting form with stories from his Arsenal days with crazy characters such as Paul Merson and Tony Adams. Making up the trio was goal machine Les Ferdinand who remains in the top ten all-time Premier League goalscorers. Guests enjoyed plenty of Christmas revelry with a free-flowing complimentary bar, a superb three course luncheon and plenty of bids on some cracking memorabilia items in support of our charity, Cure Leukaemia. It was a brilliant sporting lunch and we were thrilled to finally see friends old and new back at our customary pre-Christmas bash!
