Lunch with the Lionesses 2023

After the great success of our first two events, we were thrilled to welcome three stars of England women’s football to our Lunch with the Lionesses 2023 event, which on this occasion took place at the stunning 5* Intercontinental Park Lane. Arsenal and England’s superstar striker, Alessia Russo, was joined by one of the global game’s best defenders and biggest names, Barcelona star Lucy Bronze, with our trio being completed by England legend and most-capped captain, Faye White. After a rollercoaster three years for the Lionesses, during which they won the Euros and were narrowly beaten in the World Cup Final in 2023, the stage was set for a fascinating afternoon for our assembled clients, hearing the inside track of one of the most successful teams in English sporting history.

The food at the Intercontinental was amazing, a three course lunch served with style, befitting of one of the country’s most iconic hotels. With the complimentary bar flowing, hostess Hayley McQueen from Sky Sports, was joined on stage by our three Lionesses. It was informative to hear from Faye, who has contributed so much to the development of the England women’s team over her long career, handing over to a new generation of superstars led by the likes of Alessia and Lucy.

Although culminating in a heart-breaking defeat to Spain, England Women’s FIFA Football World Cup journey will forever be remembered by fans, to hear from two of the key players was fantastic. Our Lionesses 2023 events have brought new clients into the room, it is really refreshing to have such great engagement and recognition for what the team have achieved in such a short space of time. We can’t wait for the next one!
