Pete Graves meets… David Ginola

A packed audience Gateshead Suite at the Hilton Newcastle was thrilled to be joined by Sky Sports host and local lad Pete Graves for the inaugural Pete Graves Meets event, with three very special guests in the form of Toon idol David Ginola and new power-brokers at St. James’ Park, Mehrdad Ghodoussi and Amanda Staveley. Following a delicious three course dinner guests heard about the owners’ plans for the club from Amanda and Mehrdad with Pete, who painted a bright picture of the future for fans of the Magpies as the club seeks to break into the Big Six party and secure European football!

David Ginola was in sparkling form in front of the adoring Newcastle crowd at the Pete Graves Meets event, many of those in attendance had witnessed him light up St. James’ Park during two stunning seasons at the club, scoring a few truly memorable goals and contributing heavily to a period of great success which almost yielded a Premier League title. There is no doubting David’s affection for Newcastle Utd, and it was wonderful to hear from him as he regaled the room with tales from his career at the top, with the irrepressible Pete Graves loving every minute with one of his personal idols! A wonderful night was had by all, we look forward to further events in Newcastle in 2023!
