Our big event at Worcester Racecourse offered guests the opportunity to enjoy high class hospitality in the VIP Marquee at Worcester with a full afternoon’s racing, before a truly unique twist; we were delighted to welcome comedy superstar David Walliams into our facility for an exclusive comedy Q & A session, for our guests! We also had plenty of entertainment from our Midlands football legends Steve Bull and current Blues captain Paul Robinson, who had a few laughs discussing their respective careers.
After a delicious three course lunch, we welcomed our two Midlands football legends to the stage for an extensive Q & A about their experiences in the game, with plenty of juicy stories. After a full card of exciting summer Jumps racing, with plenty of drinks from the complimentary bar, the scene was set for David Walliams to take the stage.
After bursting on to the scene with Matt Lucas in the brilliant sketch show ‘Little Britain’ in 2003, David quickly became one of Britain’s best-loved entertainers and comedians, appearing in further hit sketch shows Rock Profile and Come Fly With Me with Matt. Since 2012 he has been one of the judges on Britain’s Got Talent, where his ready wit and supportive style have endeared him to the show’s millions of fans.
David quickly had the room in stitches as he answered a host of quirky questions in his unique style, aided and abetted by our host, Sky Sports news presenter Pete Graves. He was on stage for a full half hour, and was also available for photographs with our clients.
It was a truly unique and unforgettable day!
