An Evening with James Haskell – Great Rugby Hospitality 2022

The Alverton in Truro hosted An Evening with James Haskell, our latest December Rugby Dinner to be held in Cornwall in 2022. The hospitality that was on offer was a cut above on the night and James Haskell himself was on fine form, entertaining the guests with story after story from his illustrious career. The event was hosted by the superb Sky Sports presenter Keith Downie who proved to be an engaging host and a brilliant interviewer of our star guest.

James Haskell captivated the audience with a range of hilarious and interesting reminiscences on several topics, including how he nearly became a Welsh International player instead of England and how his first England call up came about as well as his club career with Wasps RFC and Northampton Saints. James also gave a few strong opinions on a number of topics, including the England manager position and current set-up with the audience appreciating his detailed analysis of the situation.

With guests enjoying the superb food, brilliant entertainment and with a fantastic Christmastime atmosphere, an evening with James Haskell proved to be a very popular event and a terrific time was had by everyone in attendance!
