Our Birmingham Gold Cup Festival hospitality delivered another exceptional year, with the Banqueting Suite at Edgbaston creating the perfect setting for a day filled with racing excitement, gourmet delights, and legendary sporting tales.

Gold Cup Hospitality offered an unmatched experience, highlighted by our esteemed guests. Liverpool legend Bruce Grobbelaar had everyone roaring with laughter as he relived his iconic “wobbly knees” penalty save that helped Liverpool win the 1984 European Cup Final. Premier League icon Matt Le Tissier captivated the audience with his story of a near-perfect penalty record (47 out of 48!) and his only miss. Comedian Paul McCaffrey kept the laughs flowing throughout the event with his witty banter.

The on-track action was equally thrilling, with guests cheering on their favourites and placing friendly wagers. Expert tipster Brendan Powell even impressed by predicting the Main Race winner (Galopin Des Champs) along with two other top finishers!
