After a truly memorable pre-Ashes Lunch in 2013, former Chairman of the England Selection Committee Geoff Miller hosted this year’s event in the legendary Long Room at Lords with a completely new line-up. Our clients were entertained by an all star panel featuring former England captain Michael Vaughan, fast bowling terror Steve Harmison and current England star Tim Bresnan. Set in the most famous room at the most iconic ground in the world of cricket, this was a fantastic occasion, with clients enjoying superb catering and service, for which Lords is rightly renowned.
The banter was of the highest class, as our 3 England stars regaled the spellbound audience with tales from their careers. Host Geoff Miller, one of the most sought after comperes on the circuit, ensured that everything ran smoothly, cajoling the panel along amidst much merriment. Complementing the cricket, guests were entertained over lunch by superb classical crossover duo Elysium.
Our thanks go to the staff at Lords for a top class afternoon, to the wonderful Elysium, and most of all to our panel and host for some superb entertainment.
