We had a fantastic day of England v India IT20 cricket hospitality at Edgbaston as we were joined by 3 cricketing stars who delighted guests with some humorous and thoughtful anecdotes from their playing days. With this, the superb food and drink on offer and the chance to watch a thrilling game of iT20 cricket a fantastic day was shared by all.

Our host for the day engaged each of the 3 guest speakers on an array of topics during the event. England’s legendary fast bowler Darren Gough gave huge entertainment with a terrific range of funny stories from his time at the top level of cricket with England and Yorkshire. England and Warwickshire star player Chris Woakes then discussed his career, what it’s like to play for England and his love for the iT20 competition. Finally Paul Farbrace, top-class player and former England coach enthralled the audience with stories from his playing days as well as more from his time as part of the England coaching team.

Guests then enjoyed the atmosphere and the England v India IT20 match as the 2 teams battled it out in the second of a three match Vitality iT20 series, with the hosts looking to win the match and level the series in front of the sold-out ground.
