The JR Performance Team 2026 Season Opener proved to be a spectacular success, delivering an unforgettable evening of motorsport celebration, entertainment and fundraising at the luxurious Bentley Hotel & Spa.

Guests were welcomed with a drinks reception before taking their seats in the elegant Diamond Suite, where the atmosphere was electric with anticipation for the new racing season ahead. Supporters, partners and motorsport enthusiasts came together to reflect on an action-packed 2025 campaign and look forward to an exciting 2026 season for JR Performance Racing.

A delicious two-course hot buffet set the tone for a relaxed yet high-energy evening, before the spotlight turned to special guests Shane Byrne and Bradley Ray. “Shakey”, the six-time British Superbike Champion, shared candid stories from his record-breaking career, offering insight into the highs, challenges and defining moments that made him one of the sport’s true legends. Bradley Ray reflected on his incredible recent seasons, including his dominant 2022 British Superbike Championship triumph and his impressive return campaign, giving guests a fascinating look behind the scenes of elite-level racing.

The live Q&A session was a clear highlight of the evening, with both riders providing honest, humorous and inspiring answers that brought fans closer than ever to the world of professional superbike racing.

The excitement continued with an exclusive raffle and live auction featuring signed memorabilia and luxury prizes, helping to raise significant funds in support of the team’s continued development. Thanks to the incredible generosity in the room, a substantial total was raised — providing a major boost as JR Performance Racing heads into the 2026 season. The night concluded in style with a DJ disco and fun casino, as guests celebrated what had been a fantastic evening of speed, stories and shared passion for the sport.
