Celebrity Golf Classic 2025: Turnberry

Our Celebrity Golf Classic 2025 took place on 1st October at the world-renowned Trump Turnberry Resort, one of Scotland’s most iconic golfing destinations. Despite the famously unpredictable Scottish weather making conditions a little challenging at times, guests embraced the elements and enjoyed a truly memorable day of golf, laughter, and hospitality in stunning surroundings.

Our special guests for the day were former Liverpool, Aston Villa and Wales striker Dean Saunders and Scotland and Liverpool legend Gary McAllister, who both brought their trademark wit and charisma to the occasion.

The day began with the golf fourballs, with our celebrity guests joining groups out on the magnificent Ailsa Course. The competition was spirited, with golfers showing impressive skill and determination even as the wind and rain rolled across the coast — a true test of links golf at its finest!

After the golf concluded, guests gathered for the evening’s hospitality, beginning with a superb three-course dinner and followed by the Celebrity Golf Classic 2025 Awards Presentation. Dean Saunders and Gary McAllister then took to the stage for a lively and entertaining Q&A session, sharing brilliant stories from their football careers — from memorable moments in the Premier League and international tournaments to behind-the-scenes tales from their playing days and beyond.

Both guests had the room in stitches, combining great humour with genuine insight into life at the top of professional sport. It was the perfect end to a fantastic day of golf, entertainment, and camaraderie.
